Latest Updates

We have gotten a little further at the house on the ranch. I started to give it a deep clean yesterday and will continue with lots more cleaning today. It's really starting to come together now. The mouse infested oven has been removed and the nasty rodent smell is no longer present in the house! Our biggest problem now is the wiring in the house, it's quite messed up. I'm thinking we will have to call out an electrician to have a look and make everything right. I sure wish Dad lived a little closer :)

 

Still have to decide on a color for the last wall in the front room.

Tonight at dinner, Jameson did the sign for more for the first time! Once he got it figured out, there was no stopping him :) Bring on those mickey chicken nuggets. It's so fun to watch him learn and grow.

Picture Updates

I haven't had a lot of time to sit down and learn about my new camera yet... so I haven't taken too many pictures with it. I guess I haven't thought about it to much either. Grandma Krone came for a visit this weekend and I took a few pictures while she was here.

Sweet Prayers

Lately William has been saying the sweetest little prayers that bring tears to my eyes as he prays. He begins every sentence with thank you and his voice is so sweet and sincere. He has thanked Heavenly Father for the beautiful earth he created, for the grass to play on and the water we drink. He says thank you for safe travels and thank you that people can get better from their sicknesses. I have really been enjoying William's independent prayers. Is it appropriate to video tape prayers?

Today's Nap

Jameson and Zachary took their afternoon nap together today. Zachary is such a cuddle bug and sure does love his brother. So precious :)

Ranch house updates

My sister Kristy reminded me to take some pictures of the progress of our up and coming home on the ranch. Here are some pictures to show you that it is still a mess and has a long way to go before we can move in.... though we are already paying rent as of March 1st. This transition is tricky to do with 3 small children, but we are getting there.

The outside of the new room addition and our pile of construction garbage.

Inside addition- office/ guest room. Walls painted, floors and trim waiting

Laundry room painted. Trim and shelving needed (so excited for this room!)

Main room & Kitchen. Opened! Needs more paint.

Bathroom. Fresh tile (thank you Martin) needs lots more love.

Master bedroom. Haven't touched it yet but bought my first rug! Not sure where it will go

 The boys room. Still needs more paint and a new light.

Kitchen. A mess. Need to repaint cabinets!

JamBerry Nails

For Christmas, I bought my sister Tracy a couple sheets of fun JamBerry nail shields. I thought they were pretty awesome so I bought a sheet for myself too :)
I applied them a month ago on my toe nails and they are still going strong and look just as good as day one! I get compliments every Sunday and pretty much everywhere else I go in my flip flops.

I just might be hooked!
