New House

It has been a whirl wind over here with birthdays, moving, mothers day, property management and fires. Life is down right crazy right now. Jameson and Zachary both enjoyed very intimate birthday parties with the family and some neighbors (to help us eat cake!) I can't believe that Jameson is 1 and that Zachary is 3. I need to get going on the potty training with him!
The move is finally over except that we still have a ton of stuff at the other house. Mostly in the sheds and back yard. There is still so much work to be done on both ends and now fire season is upon us. Billy has already been to 4 fires and fire "season" technically hasn't even started yet! Oh yikes. I'm in trouble. In fact, I was supposed to work a cater job in Santa Ynez on Saturday and now I don't know what I'm going to do because Billy won't be back yet.
Anyway. I took a few pictures of the house today to give an update. I am SLOWLY getting the house put together.

We still need to get rid of the last section of the fence in front. I hacked down the bush archway today.

We are getting more and more settled everyday. Zachary a few times has looked out the window and quietly said " Mom, I just want to go home". Aahh. What can you do.

  2. I remember when Tracy said that to me when we moved to goleta. She was the same age as Zachary so I guess there is something about moving that 3 year olds don't like. It definitely looks like your house .. Before long he will be feeling like its home for sure. Looks fresh and clean and very nice.

  3. I really wish I could help you. Life as a single mom really stinks. I'm sorry you are moving into that stage again. If it makes you feel better, Reanne and Sierra have both told me that they prefer the old town home. Go figure.
