Hair today, gone tomorrow!

Well, I have been growing out my hair since William was about 1 year old.... over a year and a half! I really didn't mean to wait this long, but I had the length to donate my hair to locks of love. So, last night I had 12 inches cut off my head at the new salon in town, the Color Room. De Cut (where I used to go) closed about 8 months ago and some of the stylist moved and started up there own place :) It's very nice and comfortable inside.

Anyway, Sean gave me a new style that I'm sure I will grow right back out. But, I really like it for now. It's light and short for the summer. Honestly I thought it was going to be a lot shorter, but I can still pull it back in a pony tail for exercising. I'm happy. Here's my new hair do :)

It's Green

I decided it was time to give my house a little splash of color. I painted the front door green (on the outside, which was only half way painted for the last 2 years). Then I thought I would paint my funky slanted wall the same color to give the front room a little change.

I had stenciled on the wall a year ago or so and decided I didn't want to paint over it... so i painted around it. Billy built be a frame right onto the wall to finish it out. He is the best. He always goes along with my crazy ideas with a smile. I really like the way it turned out.
